After a married novelist has a one-night stand with a female publisher, she writes a perverted but brilliant romance novel.


Fifi wants to become a novelist, and she finally wins the Best-selling Romantic Novel Award for her novel Don’t Go Any Deeper. I Surrender. What will Fifi do with this award? Her husband Du Yi-fan is a pottery artist. What will he do if he knows that she has written an erotic novel? Fifi can't deny that she wrote the perverted but brilliant novel because of her one-night stand with her publisher, Ai Qi. She starts wondering if she is lesbian or bisexual. Meanwhile, her husband contacts Ai Qi to ask about Fifi's apparent unhappiness. What is going to happen between these three people?

“5 Lessons in Happiness” focuses on LGBTQ+ issues from 5 different perspectives, including sex, family, bisexuality, transgender and how to raise children. The amazing crew is composed of Taiwanese directors, Zero Chou, Chen Yi-Yu, Hsieh Chih-wen, Adiamond Lee and Huang Ting-Chun (Fox). The films explore how LGBTQ+ people’s search for happiness through comedy. All of the shorts have open-endings and will let the audiences vote for their favorite one.

She has been in film and television production for nearly 20 years. Her works include Lion Dancing directed by Cha-Cha Peng, the A Taiwanese Tale of Two Cities co-produced by Taiwan and Netflix, and her first feature film Big Three Dragons.

Graduated from the Drama Department at the National Taiwan University of the Arts. She is the lead singer in Taiwanese psychedelic band Jade Eyes.
