A romance about Ricky and Roger who share life together and face all kinds of life adversities, including betrayal, temptation, illnesses, etc.; and only till death do they part. Director Kit Hung creates and visualises a queer utopia as a gift to the queer community.

Forever 17 is the first part of the “Fire Work” (working title) trilogy. The film is dedicated to two honorable queer icons from Hong Kong, actor and singer Leslie Cheung (張國榮), and singer and friend Ellen Loo (盧凱彤), who committed suicide.
